End Before The Beginning

It was weird.
A different feeling inside me.
Not bad, but it’s weird.
Kind of sensational.

My heart was heavy.
Days were empty.
A severe pain.
For a long time.

A voice that you are gone.
Gone forever.
The faults were not in our stars.
But in ourselves, maybe.

Saw you and, with time, fell for you.
You’re worth more than a stay.
But forever is not for everyone.
And now I have to let it go.
End before the beginning.
